The Natural Bulk Density Meter is engineered and designed on the basis of the provisions set forth by the national standard GB/T 16913.1-1997. The device is effective at determining the bulk density of dust and metal powders leveraging the principles of the natural deposition method (refer to GB/T 16913.1-4.3: methods of dust character test - Determination of bulk density).
Before operating the device, please ensure the sample has been properly dried with all impurities.
To operate, take the cylindrical cup out and place it on a scale, tare it, then place it back underneath the funnel. Pour the powder into the funnel, until the cylinder is full using the spatula to scrape off excess powder, then weigh the cup.
